Obituary of Sandra Ann Hodges

Sandra Ann (Underwood) Hodges, 54 passed on October 6, 2017 in the Valley Regional Hosptial. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of Louis and Marguerite Underwood. She attended Horton High School before moving to Ontario to work at various employments. Sandra moved back to Nova Scotia in 2015 to be closer to her mother. After returning, she attended the Billtown Baptist Church and was a member of the Women's Auxiliary where she loved to meet people. She was always one for organization, which most would look at as her "thing". But the highlight of life, was when her granddaughters were born. Sandra is survived by her loving mother Marguerite; brothers Jim, Wayne, Kerry and Paul; daughters Candice (Barry) Mooney, Carrie (Aaron) VanRoistel; step-son David; granddaughters Jaiden, Lola, Anita and Bea. She was predeceased by her father Louis Underwood. A Memorial Service will be held on October 11, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Billtown Baptist Church, Billtown, NS with Rev. Christoph Deutschmann officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Billtown Baptist Church, 742 Steadman Rd, Billtown, NS, B0P 1J0.
