George Wayne Shirley Written by Sharon Shirley Wayne had a love of life And a stubborn streak Once he set his mind to something There was no stopping him He leaves behind his wife Sharon Two sisters Patricia and Druscilla A brother Laurie Two sons, Aaron and Dan A daughter and son Kayla and Kyle And all the extended family therein Along with his many friends Up until the day he left us On November 10th, 2017 He affected many lives Each learned to love and respect him Each person in their own way He was who he was With simple wishes Done his way And in his time Unless I wanted it done differently I got my way sometimes More than he wanted I am sure. Each of us have our special memories I hope you relish them as I do He made no bones about who he was And was never afraid To speak his mind The day to day was never boring I learned to accept all the sides of him And loved him dearly. To his friends and family I say this Thank you for being a part of our lives I hope you take away a good thought And many good memories For he was a man Strong and caring to those that knew him Respected by all.
