No words can describe how sorry we are for your loss. We know that God will accept her with open arms for all the good she has done while she was on this earth and may her soul rest in peace in heaven reunited with her family members who have passed before her.

Today is Ethel`s Celebration Of Life and unfortunately, I cannot attend. Although, Ethel was 25 years older ( my most senior first cousin), our two families began a rich, close relationship when her family built a summer camp a stone`s throw from ours, about 55 years ago. I have been a witness to Ethel celebrating life ever since.
I have rarely seen a person as interested in meeting and socializing with all age groups and effortlessly remembering the minutiae of their lives and families.I could never mention friends of my parents without Ethel knowing them. She even knew my friends. Two summers ago, she came trotting over to my camp to say Hello to one of my elementary school friends, who has been living in the U.S. for about 45 years. Now that shows an enthusiasm for people, I`d say.
A conscientious nurse, a graceful dancer, an energetic traveller, a supportive friend, a welcoming hostess and superior donut maker, she embraced life. So, my sympathy goes to David, who shared her love of dancing and travel, Greg, Peggy, Peter, Ethel`s sisters and brother, her grandchildren and all her relatives and friends whose lives intertwined happily with Ethel`s life. We have been blessed by her presence in our lives.
Love to you all, Jean

Thinking of you all back home. Aunt Ethel was a lovely and humourous lady. Spending the summers in front of her home on the beach with all of the cousins will always be a part of my fondest childhood memories. She will be missed.

Grammy Ethel,
You will be dearly missed. You were the centre of the Miller/O'Neill/Munro family. Paula and I always enjoyed our visits with you and David, whether it was at the Lake on your deck or over a family dinner. You were always interested in everything we were up to and how Victoria was doing. We would exchange travel stories and you were always planning your next travelling destination. I guess your love of travel has rubbed off on us.
I find myself fondly looking back and laughing at the time I stepped on a nail. When Nurse Grammy arrived to help. With the nail sticking out of my foot you "gently" pulled (ripped) my foot off the nail and said' "Well, it had to come off. No point waiting." That was my gentle Grandmother.
I remember racing down to the Lake whenever you called to say you just made some homemade bread... so good... not to mention I would have to double check the Sucker Garden and Bubble Gum Tree for a fresh crop.
You leave me wondering how year after year you mailed a birthday card that always arrived exactly on my birthday.
I am glad you were able to watch me, my brother & sister and cousins all grow up. You have had a positive impact all of us.
Love
Robert
