Obituary of Jason Scott Bell
It’s with utmost sadness that we announce Jason Scott Bell, age 42 of Cambridge, Nova Scotia, passed away unexpectedly as the result of a tragic motor vehicle accident on February 23, 2018.
Born in Digby, Nova Scotia, Jason was the beloved son of Lorraine and Rodney Bell.
Jason was employed by Randsland Storage & Packing Ltd. in Canning, Nova Scotia.
Besides his mom, Jason is survived by his partner, Monica Bailey and her daughter Ava who he adored and who adored him in return.
Jason is also survived by his sisters, Kim (Matt) Ward of North Vancouver, BC and Charlene (Paul) Bishop of Stillwater Lake, as well as his much-loved Nan, Gwen Clements of Digby. He was a proud uncle to his nephews Connor, Ethan and Ryan and his niece Raine. Jason was predeceased by his father Rodney Bell and his Grampie Cyril Clements.
Jason will be greatly missed by his dog Cooper and the Detroit Red Wings, who lost one of their biggest and most dedicated fans. In his earlier years, he played minor hockey from the early age of 5 and into his late teens.
Jason’s many friends and family will remember his outgoing personality, warm smile and infectious laughter while missing him dearly.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home of Coldbrook where cremation has taken place.
There will be no formal church service however, there will be an informal graveside service at Madonna Cemetery in Marshalltown, on Friday, March 2nd at 11:00am. The service will be conducted by Father Vincent Onyekelu of St. Patrick’s Parish. The service is open to all friends and family. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
