Obituary of Faye Elizabeth Parks

Faye Elizabeth (Ruggles) (Salsman) Parks, 80 of Berwick  passed away on April 15, 2018 in the Grand View Manor. Born on December 15, 1937 in Berwick, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Gladys (Rand) Ruggles.

Faye taught school in Kings County for over 13 years before moving to Florida where she lived for 25 years. She loved children and taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for several years; this led her to work in the AWANA Program for children. Serving in various positions with Christian Women's Club, Faye loved the Lord and it was her desire to serve Him faithfully as long as possible.

She is survived by daughter Elizabeth Parks of Kentville; brothers Howard Ruggles of Perry Sound, ON; Carmen Ruggles of Ontario.

Faye was predeceased by first husband Carl Salsman and second husband Ralph Parks; sister Charlotte Forth and brothers Morris, Walter and Murray.

A Funeral Service will be held on April 21, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the Berwick Funeral Chapel. Family Flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Aylesford Union Cemetery, the Parkinson Society or a charity of one's choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Berwick Funeral Chapel, 192 Commercial Street, Berwick (902-538-9900).
