Shay was born October 4, 1981 and was presently living in Kentville. She passed away quite suddenly of a short battle with meningitis on April 26, 2018.
Shay was a unique and lively spirit who knew what she wanted from life and went for it. She was a Bass Clarinet player and had a great love of classical music. She had received two degrees from Acadia University, a BM in Performance and Music Therapy. She became a registered Music Therapist after completing her internship in Regina. She brought light and love to all that knew her. Shay had a generous and giving spirit that touched so many through her short life and will continue to do so in death as she was an organ donor.
