Obituary of Sheilagh Morton

In Memory of Sheila Anne Brownell Morton 1951-2018

Sheila Anne Browell Morton 67 of Wolfville passed away peacefully in the Valley Regional Hospital May 1, 2018.

The last few years were very difficult for her as she fought a courageous battle with renal failure.

Mom was a very social person and enjoyed her many outings at Tim Hortons and the Wolfville Legion. She loved life and always had time for a Timmies and a chat with friends.

Mom's most special memories are times she shared with her family. Her stories and her choice of music were always topic of conversation.

She leaves behind her husband Keith Morton. Daughters Heather Parker (Ronnie) Patty (Barry Griffin) David Corkum (Jesse Monette) Grandchildren Kaileigh Parker, Cody Parker, Mackenzie Reeves (Madison Milne) Special grandchildren Gage,Quinn, Jaxson you all ment the world to Nana. Brothers Clifford Erickson (Vera) Brian MacCharles (Bev) Wayne MacCharles (Camille) Dennis MacCharles (Yvette Johnson) Shawn Brownell, Shane Brownell. Sisters Kathy Titus (Wayne) Paulette Brown, Sherri Mitchell, Shannon Close.  And her many neices and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents Laura MacCharles (Clarence) and Gordon Brownell.  Brothers Blair MacCharles and Malcom Brownell.

Cremation has already taken place. There will be no visition by request. There will be a Legion Service on Saturday May 5th at 2 p.m. at the Wolfville Legion Branch 74 310 Main St. Wolfville. Burial will take place at the Willowbank Cemetory in Wolfville. Followed by a reception at the Wolfville Legion Branch 74 310 Main St Wolfville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your local SPCA or a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr. (902-679-2822).
