Obituary of Hazel Louise Dukeshire

Hazel Louise (Jefferson) Dukeshire, born September 23, 1937, passed away peacefully May 3, 2018 with her granddaughter, Amanda Louise Ellingwood by her side. She was the daughter of the late Louise and Fred Jefferson, granddaughter of the late Tressa and Frank Jefferson and the late Charles and Emma Tupper. Also, the sister of the late Ralph Jefferson.

Hazel was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved to talk and reminisce about her life and family. Her love of horses started when she was 10. Her hobbies included reading, crosswords and watching old TV shows. She was a Nanny to many neighbourhood children. Hazel was the most caring, precious woman and never spoke wrongly about anyone, always kind words.

She is lovingly remembered by her Family and will be greatly missed.

Left to mourn her loss is her loving husband of 58 years, Carroll Dukeshire; sons Mark Dukeshire and Gerald Dukeshire; daughters Wanda Morgan and Holly Dukeshire; grandchildren Breton Dukeshire, Devin Dukeshire, Amanda Ellingwood, Jason Morgan, Amy Tupper, Melissa Dukeshire, Amber Dukeshire, Mia Wright and Spencer Wright; great-grandchildren Jaxen Dukeshire, Taryn Dukeshire, Tanner Dukeshire, Robin Dukeshire, Ayla Dukeshire, Hudson Dukeshire, Alexander Ellingwood, Gabriel Ellingwood, Gracie Tupper, Drake Tupper, Jase Morgan, Jaden Morgan, Abel Watson and Avaya Watson.

Hazel was predeceased by daughter Rose Marie Dukeshire.

A Celebration of Hazel's Life will be held on May 26, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the Foresters Hall in Clementsvale. If Friends or Family so desire memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr. (902-679-2822).
