Obituary of Anthony Ambrose Amero

Anthony Ambrose Amero, 85 of Plympton  passed away July 31, 2018 in the Digby General Hospital. Born in Plympton, he was the son of the late Whitney and Lottie (Comeau) Amero, also of Plympton.

He worked as a woodsman as well as a mechanic.  His hobbies were hunting, whittling, reading and watching TV. He was a very private person.

He is survived by former wife Antoniette Amero (Boudreau); one niece Diane Amero of Halifax; Larry and Della Amero, who he considered family, of Plympton.

Besides his parents, Anthony was predeceased by brother Roger Amero (Violet); sisters Catherine Amero; Annie Lowe; Lottie Amero (Hewey).

A Graveside Service will be held on August 9, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Plympton. Memorial donations may be made to a Charity of One’s Choice.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Digby Funeral Chapel, 367 Conway Road, Digby, B0V 1A0 (902-245-2444).
