It was so sad to hear for Kathy's illness and passing. I have known Kathy for most of my life and she was such a kind and loving person. The biggest thing for me that stands out about Kathy is when I would go to Church and listen to her sing a solo and it would send tingling feelings down my spine and often it would be hard to not tear up. Her voice was like an angel and it affected me every single time that Kathy sang. My condolences to Wayne and the boys, Glendon and Brian and all of the rest of the family.

So sorry for your loss - Kathy and I grew up in our tiny community with the rest of the gang playing ball in the field across from my family home - this is where she fell in love with her husband Wayne. I remember all the birthday parties over the years, trips to Lake Paul with our bikes with at least one of us getting a flat and having to return and have Glendon fix it at the garage or just all walking - pushing our bikes all the way to the lake and all the fun we had going through West Kings with Jocelyn, Carla and Donna. Kathy’s voice was always beautiful and I often pushed her to sing in the musicals at school but she always said no she wasn’t good enough - but she really had a truly wonderful gift that she did share for years in the church choir. My how I have missed that in the past few years. Lots of hugs to the family who I know will miss her greatly, she was indeed a great lady. Rest In Peace.

Dear Wayne & Family, & Extended Families, and Friends,
I'm so very sorry to hear of Kathy's departure, your loss, but her gain. Her faith in Christ has gotten her safely to her eternal destination, and for now, we will need to draw strength and courage from the same God whom she loved and served with all her heart. He is faithful, and keeps his promises. He had her healing in mind, and now, there is no more sickness, pain, or death to bother her ever again. She is now in the Father's presence, awaiting her brand new healthy and whole resurrected body! "Extreme Body Makeover By Jesus"...it doesn't get any better than that! I Cor. 15: 51-58...what precious words of hope and encouragement!
Wayne, I'm several years your junior, but I remember the days when you and Kathy were dating...YOU were her world! She didn't look at any other, she knew she had found Mr. Right, and she wasn't wrong!
Thankfully, you all have many precious memories that you can draw upon to help see you through this long, dark shadow of the valley of death. Kathy is at rest now, and soon it will be our turn. Jesus stands with open arms of invitation to "whomsoever will" receive Him, and to receive Him is to gain eternal life. Kathy knew this all too well, as she sang His praises and His message of love and grace in the choir for so many years. She wasn't just singing a song; she was singing to her Lord, the soon-coming King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and sing so beautifully to Him she did!
Having spent considerable time in Morristown with family, it was no secret that Kathy and Carla were the best of friends. Together, they were TNT, dynamite, sisters on a mission...to brighten somebody's day! Carla will have many wonderful and funny stories to reflect back upon, to help to sustain her through this time and the times of loneliness to come. I'll bet she will be more than willing to share some of those stories with you!
Kathy is one of the very few people in my whole life who stood out the most. She was vivacious, sincere, caring, and so loved by all who knew her. She was a modern day "rock" in Nicholsville and Morristown communities, and beyond. She will be greatly missed.
God will see you through this; as painful as it is, joy comes in the morning. Soon, for those who have a personal relationship with Christ, it will be our turn, and what a day of reunion that will be! Kathy's faith is now sight!
Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers today.
Sincere sympathy,
Tom

I am heartbroken and at a loss for words. Aunt Kathy was a 2nd mom to me as a kid. I will always cherish how she affectionately called me ‘Brat’, made the best homemade pizza and her world famous Harris potluck lasagna, Some of my favorite memories were spent at the family home watching movies and ball games, camping at LaHave river campground and travelling with them to hockey games. She was a terrific lady, mother and friend. She will be missed and forever remembered fondly.
Our thoughts are with Wayne, Anthony, Jason and their loved ones at this time, as well as all members of the Harris and Tupper families.
Our sincere condolences and love,
Ryan, Sara, Ayden & JJ

I was so sad to hear about my school friend, Kathy. In our teenage years, we always got together at the old schoolhouse upstairs and had great times together with all the gang, Donna, Ivy, Margaret, and others from the community. We always talked about you, Wayne and how much she wanted to be with you. She got her wish and she was so happy at her wedding. My thoughts are with you and your family. She was a great friend.

Growing up, Kathy was always a figure in my life. Much of my time was spent at their house with Art and the rest of the family. I smile thinking of the “glasses sisters”, the wonderful smell of baked beans, freshly baked donuts. So many happy times. I would like to offer condolences to Wayne and the boys and to her family. She will be missed and most importantly she will be remembered
