I knew him on the internet. I was wondering what happened to him. I met him 11 years ago. We were such good friends. I will miss Cap so much. He loved his wife and four daughters so much. And he enjoyed. his job delivering meals. God bless you girls so much.Margaret Finney

We were sad to hear of Stephen passing.My husband has known him most of his life. He was guite a colorful character. I got to know him because he delivered meals on wheels at the hospital where I am employed. I found him to be a generous and kind man giving his time to help others. I was fond of him and considered him a friend. OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHY to his family .

Your dad and I had known each other for well over 40 years. We worked together on the boards of The Maud Lewis Folk Festival, The Silver Angels and more recently on Admiral Digby Senior's after meeting originally when we were both employed with the Town of Digby. He was always willing to help out where necessary. We were so happy to see him start carving again after the long absence after his soul-mate Dianne's death. Back in the old Town Days I would look at his carvings and wish I had money to purchase one. I saw the first ones he had done recently. He never lost a bit of his talent, even though he purchase new equipment to make the job easier! He succeeded in getting them done so each of his daughter's would have one. Well done Stephen!!! You will be sadly missed.

I don't have words to tell you so sorry I am for your loss. Your Dad was a wonderful Man. He always made me feel like smiling. His kindness and caring will be missed by many many people. He helped me find the courage to move forward after I suffered a loss myself. Thank you for sharing your Dad. The world is a much sadder place with out him in it.
