Harold “Hal” Edgar Turner, 79 of Wilmot Station,  passed away August 21, 2018 in Soldier’s Memorial Hospital.  Born December 5, 1938 in Toronto, ON, he was the son of the late George and Madelaine (Cooper) Turner.

He enjoyed old war movies and playing bridge with friends.  Hal was an avid golfer and scored a “Hole-in-one” at Fox Creek Golf Club, Lydia, South Carolina.  A favorite meal of Hal’s, was Prime Rib Roast, Yorkshire Pudding and lots of gravy.

Hal is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Marcia (Moore); sons Todd (Jennie) of Toronto and Daniel of Bellsville; grandchildren Joshua and Tyler; brother William “Bill” (Anita) and family of Toronto.

He was predeceased by his older sister Elizabeth “Betty”.

Hal was full of life, wit and boundless energy as he travelled through life on business trips and vacations with family and friends.  He will be missed by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday September 8, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the Middleton Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 1, 205 Marshall Street, Middleton. Family Flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4P 1B9 (902-679-2822).
