DOWNEY, Lewis E.- 96, of Belcher Street, Port Williams passed away peacefully after a short illness at the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville.
Born in Highbury, Kings County, he was a son of the late Frank and Clara (Fielding) Downey.
He was a farmer all of his life up to his retirement. He enjoyed hunting.
He resided with his nephew Wayne (Ruth) Downey for 30 years.
He is survived by sisters Pauline Darrah, New Brunswick and Helena Harvey, Kingston. Beside his parents he was predeceased by a brother Glen.
Cremation has taken place a graveside memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2005 in797,0,Deceased
