MacKENZIE, Edna Jean "Nana" - Her prayer to "wake up dead in the morning safe in the arms of Jesus" was granted our beloved Nana as she slept quietly away in Valley Regional Hospital early Saturday morning October 15, 2005, with the ball of Otis, her companion dog, in her hands as she prepared to take it to the Rainbow Bridge on the way to Heaven. Edna Jean "Nana" MacKenzie of Wolfville, was born September 28, 1920, in Durell, Kings Co., P.E.I. She was the youngest daughter of Charles and Lilla (Swallow)
