Obituary of Ralph Alton MacDonald

Ralph Alton MacDonald, 89 of Mt. Denson  passed away November 15, 2018 in Dykeland Lodge.  He was the son of the late Cecil and Edith (Wild) MacDonald.

Ralph was a dedicated son, father, grandfather and man.  He spent 40 years working for Canadian Keyes Fibre. Ralph enjoyed being outside on his tractor, oh, how he loved that machine.  He thought the world of his little dog, Teddy, and was fortunate to have had him in his life for 10 years.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife Shirley (Wile); sons Chris and Steve (Chris); stepson Steve; stepdaughters Cheryl (Randy) and Suzanne (Tim); sisters June and Shirley; brother-in-law John; Grandchildren Brittany, Frazier, Christopher, Daniel and Wilson; great-grandchildren Quinn and Sophie.

Besides his parents, Ralph was predeceased by his daughter Kim and sister Judy.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the Hantsport Baptist Church, 6 Willow St., Hantsport, NS. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mt. Denson United Baptist Church or Alzheimer’s Society of Canada. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4P 1B9 (902-679-2822).
