Obituary of Ruth Mae Watts

It is with great sadness that the family of Ruth Mae Watts (nee Belong), 88 years old of Halifax, NS, announces her sudden passing at Ivany Place Nursing Home on December 6, 2018.

In her younger days she very much enjoyed music, playing the guitar and singing accompanied by her husband, Cyril.

Surviving are her daughters Susan Morris (Shawn Wagner); Jane Grant; Dorothy Poole (Bruce Goldsmith) and son Robert Watts; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Cyril Watts and granddaughter, Sarah Morris.

Cremation has taken place.  A private service and interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Charity of One’s Choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4P 1B9 (902-679-2822).
