Clyde Albert Arnold, age 86, of Middle Sackville, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2018 in Northwood Bedford, Ivany Place, his home since 2016, with family by his side. Born in Lindsay Lake, on May 22, 1932. Grew up as a child in Meagher's Grant. He was a son of the late Albert and Roxy (Redden) Arnold.

Clyde was previously married to his first wife, Edith (Anthony), together they raised four sons.

Clyde is survived by his wife of 25 years, Joyce (Mahar) Arnold and Clyde's sons, Garnet (Trish) of Ontario; Kim (Cindy) of Victoria, B.C.; Wade of Halifax; Shawn (Sheila) of Wellington and stepdaughters, Sherry (Paul) Isnor of Halifax; Brenda (Greg) Strohm of British Columbia; brother, Keith (Shirley) of Dartmouth; sister, Iona of Middle Musquodoboit and four grandchildren; two step grandchildren; three great- grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by his sisters, Frances Blakeney, Goldie Slaunwhite and Buelah Patterson.

Clyde was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 2001. Clyde enjoyed dancing, listening to music like Johnny Cash and playing the harmonica and fiddle.

A special thank you to all the nursing staff at Northwood Bedford Campus, for all their hard work in caring for Clyde.

Memorial Service will be held on January 5, 2019 at 2 p.m. in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 77 Beaverbank Rd., Lower Sackville, NS B4E 2R3. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4P 1B9 (902-679-2822).
