Dorothy Ann Sherriffs, 82 of Berwick  passed away peacefully December 30, 2018 with her loving husband Jim by her side, in the Valley Regional Hospital. Born in Morden, she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Margaret (Hannifan) Hussey.

Dorothy was a devoted member of the Berwick Lionettes’ Club and a Charter Member of the Roman Catholic CWL, St. Anthony, Berwick.

She is survived by her loving husband John James “Jim”; sons David (Frances), Alan, Robert and Jeffrey; daughters Janice and Mary-Anne (Bruce) Gould; grandchildren Michael, Meaghan, Theresa and Brenda; great-grandchildren Abigail, Rebecca and Nicolas; brothers Gerald (Judy) Hussey of Tampa, FL.

Besides her parents, Dorothy was predeceased by bothers Eugene “Bud” and Clarence; sisters Mary, Alice Acker and Marguerite Conkin.

A visitation will take place on Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm in the Berwick Funeral Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church, Berwick. Family Flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Charity of One’s Choice.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Berwick Funeral Chapel, 192 Commercial Street, Berwick, NS, B0P 1E0 (902-538-9900).
