Kathleen Mae Keddy (Conrad)  died peacefully on January 9, 2019 at the Grand View Manor with her family present and under the loving care of manor staff. Kay was born in Broad Cove, Lunenburg Co on January 23, 1923, the second child of Russell Seaforth and Agnes Theresa Conrad (Crouse).

In her teens she moved to the Valley where she met and married Andrew (Bob) Laurine Keddy.

Surviving are her two daughters Shirley (Junior) Landry, Berwick and Marilyn Keddy, Stonehurst Lunenburg Co., three grandchildren Mike (Lisa) and Scott (Andrea MacLean) Landry and Shelley (Dana) Orr, seven great grandchildren Logan, Whitney, Taylor, Courtney, Bronson, Hunter and Luke and two great great-granddaughters Gracie and Ryleigh.

She was predeceased by her parents Russell and Agnes, husband Bob, brother Spurgeon, sister Frances and son in law John St Amand.

The family extends a sincere thank you to the staff at Grand View Manor for taking such excellent care of their loving mother. 

A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at 2:30 pm in the Berwick Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the family plot at St. John’s Anglican Church, Church St beside her parents and Bob at a later date. No visitation by family request. Family flowers only.  Memorial donations, in Kay’s memory, may be made to the Grand View Manor Activity Program where Kay was a bowling champion. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Berwick Funeral Chapel, 192 Commercial Street, Berwick, NS, B0P 1E0 (902-538-9900).
