Obituary of Megan Leigh Sweet-Smith

Megan Leigh Sweet-Smith, 31 of Meadowvale, passed away January 11, 2019 in the Valley Regional Hospital.

Raised in the Annapolis Valley, Megan enjoyed and lived life to the fullest. Despite the disabilities that presented obstacles in Megan’s' life, she met and overcame those hurdles displaying courage and determination; riding and competing on her trusted pony "Lady" and subsequently on her precious Halflinger "Maple". 

Megan is survived by partner Colin Riley; mother Susan Sweet, Lakeside; sister Morgan (Colby Cannady) Sweet, Lethbridge, AB; aunts Keri (Brian Lewis) MacCulloch, Nictaux; Kelly (David) Sweet, Halifax; uncle Jeffery Sweet, Lloydminister, SK; as well as her "fur babies" Rascal and Dawson. 

She was predeceased by her beloved grandparents Joyce Evelyn and Leroy Rex Sweet.

Service will be held at a later date.  Memorial donations may be made to Spina Bifida Association, Easter Seals Nova Scotia, Local SPCA or charity of one’s choice.
