Obituary of Ivalo Pansy Gates

Ivalo Pansy Gates, 84, of New Ross, Lunenburg County passed away on March 30, 2019 in Shoreham Village in Chester. Born in New Ross, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Veda (Walker) Veinotte.

She lived in New Ross all of her life, as a mother, homemaker and a friend to all.  She loved to cook and bake.  A very religious lady and was a member of the United Baptist Church, always ready to serve and help.  She was a member of the True Blue Auxiliary, United Baptist Church and a Deacon of the Mill Road United Baptist Church.

She was truly a loving person and is survived by sons Terry, Chester; Jeffrey (Cheryl), Chester Basin; grandchildren Jonah, Matthew, Candace, Sarah, Jeremy and Kendall; great-grandchildren Aliyah, Jasper and Leland.

She was predeceased by her husband Kendall Otis; son Hedley and great-granddaughter Ruby Madison Webber.

A Visitation will be Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 1:00 pm with a Funeral Service following at 2:00 pm in the New Ross Baptist Church with Pastor Rick Small officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the United Baptist Church Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home New Ross Funeral Chapel, 4935 Hwy #12, New Ross, B0J 2M0 (902-689-2961).
