Obituary of Kenneth George Ross

Kenneth George Ross, 86 of Cornwallis passed away peacefully on April 10, 2019 in the Digby Memorial Hospital.  He was the son of the late William and Florence Ross.

Ken served in the RCN from 1950 to 1975 reaching the rank of Warrant Officer First Class.  Upon retiring from Canadian Forces, he served for several years with the Corp of Commissioners’ at CFB Cornwallis.

Ken enjoyed travelling and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed gardening.  He was also well-known as an incredible storyteller, whom could always make you laugh.

He is survived by sisters Joyce, Oshawa; Jacquelyn, Halifax; wife of 65 years, Mary, Cornwallis; sons Donald, Edmonton; Robert, Moncton; Alan, Cornwallis; Peter, Oshawa; Steven, Ottawa; daughter Stacy, Pickering; grandsons Druce, Ottawa; Grant, Halifax; Nickolas, St.John; granddaughters Robin, Halifax; Danielle, Sussex; Sharon, Annapolis Royal; many great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  

Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Digby County Funeral Chapel, 367 Highway #303, Digby, B0V 1A0 (902-245-2444).
