Obituary of Joshawa Mason Lee Bentley

Joshawa Mason Lee Bentley, 29 of Kentville.  Josh was born on July 3, 1989, he is the son of Tanya (Stephen) Atkins and Robert (Candice) Bentley.

Josh worked at Michelin Tire for the last three years, but his dream was to own a body shop one day.  He loved music, fast cars, his dogs and fishing.  He enjoyed the outdoors, camping and going to the beach.  Josh was most proud of his family, especially his boys, who he loved dearly. A favorite pastime was the enjoyable card nights with his family.  Josh knew who he was and was proud of where he came from.

He is survived by his parents; the love of his life Katrena Schofield and their unborn son, Beau; children Michael and Easton Bentley and their mom Jessica Scott; brother Ryan (Brogan) Bentley; niece Sawyer Bentley; grandmother Sandra Brittain; grandfather James Bentley; aunts Shelly (John) Egan; Tracy Atkins; Amanda (Josh) Bacon; Cindy Bentley; several cousins, great aunts and great uncles.

Joshawa was predeceased by maternal grandparents Ray and Theresa Atkins; paternal grandfather George Brittain.

In memory of Josh, if you would like to wear plaid to the service, Josh would have liked that.

A visitation will take place on Friday, May 24, 2019 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the Berwick Funeral Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to the SPCA or Valley Search and Rescue.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Berwick Funeral Chapel, 192 Commercial Street, Berwick, NS, B0P 1E0 (902-538-9900).
