Obituary of William "Bill" Murray Carey

William “Bill” Murray Carey, 75 of Kentville, passed away June 13, 2019 in Orchard Court Shannex, Kentville.  He was the son of the late Delbert and Leora (Dykens) Carey.

Bill lived in Somerset for part of his life, and many of those years he lived there with his wife, Carolyn.  He was a good father and great man, who was liked by many people.  The majority of his career was spent working for Case Tractors, and at home, he would enjoy tinkering on various projects.

His favorite summer activities were camping and fishing with friends and family.

Bill is survived by daughters Lorraine (Rick Randall), North Alton; Denice, Greenwood; son Darren; brother Donald, Centreville; sisters Sharon, Deborah, Beatrice, Judy and Veneta; eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, Bill was predeceased by brother Frederick and sister Marie.

A visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 1:00 pm, with a Memorial Service to follow at 2:00 pm, both will be held in the Berwick Funeral Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Berwick Funeral Chapel, 192 Commercial Street, Berwick, NS, B0P 1E0 (902-538-9900).
