Obituary of Howard Chute Huntley

Howard C. Huntley, 82 of New Minas, passed away June 22, 2019 as a result of a car accident, along with his best friend, Lucky (his beloved dog).  He was the son of the late Vernon and Dorothy (Dykens) Huntley.

Howard enjoyed working at Atlantic Wholesalers in Coldbrook for 18 years and he also drove charter bus for Perry Rand Ltd for over 20 years.

He is survived by his ever-loving wife of 57 years, Juanita (Bennett); brothers Robert (Elizabeth), Kenneth (Frances), Everette (Louise), Daniel (Donna) and Vaughn (Elaine); sisters Marion (Herald), Bernice and Laverne (Arthur).

Besides his parents, Howard was predeceased by siblings Phillip, Lawrence, Brenda, Mable and Mildred in infancy.

There will be no service at this time. Memorial donations may be made to the Kings County SPCA or charity of one’s choice.   Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4P 1B9 (902-679-2822).
