Obituary of Georgina Marie Boudreau

Georgina Marie Boudreau, 40 of New Edinburgh, was unexpectedly taken from us on July 2, 2019. Born in Digby, she was the daughter of the late Sharon (Wright) Mullen, and father, Richard (Twila) Stone; granddaughter of Georgina “Peanie” and the Late Blanchard “Jesse” Wright, as well as the late Bertha and Lawson Stone.

The family finds peace in knowing Georgie has moved on into her loving mother’s arms and is holding her precious baby boy, Virgil Thomas Boudreau.  She was a devoted mother and wife, who treasured most, her time spent with “her Joe and Hayl”.  Georgie was known by all as a very humorous, kind, loving and generous soul.  She looked forward to playing darts, spending time with her beloved friends, going to ox-pulls, doing puzzles with her grandmother, trips to the zoo and being around any animal (especially cows), she also loved her music and movies.  Georgie was the glue that kept our family close and just like her mom, spoiled all the children in her life every moment she could.  Her heart was big, and she was full of mischief in the best of ways, leaving fond memories for those who loved her to cherish.

Georgina is survived by her loving husband Joey Boudreau and cherished daughter Hayley Boudreau; brothers Troy (Lianne); Derrick (Shannon), Rodney (Denise); Barrett (Amanda); Sam; sisters Jeannie (Jason); Rhonda (Steve); many loved nephews and nieces Mason, Emma, Ava, Justin, Tannah, Kamen, MacKenzie, Carter, Chelsey, Dillon, Jackson, Jayden, Daniel, Noah, Scotlynn; very loved great nieces and nephews and many beloved in-laws.

She was predeceased by her beautiful boy, Virgil Boudreau.

A visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm and Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 2:00 pm, both will be held in the Weymouth Church of Christ, 4924 New Rd, Weymouth. Memorial donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart & Stroke Foundation.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Digby County Funeral Chapel, 367 Highway #303, Digby, B0V 1A0 (902-245-2444).
