Obituary of Yvonne Alice Leopold

Yvonne Alice Leopold, 82 of New Ross passed away on July 15, 2019, at the South Shore Regional Hospital.

Yvonne loved to garden, pick berries, sing and make wreaths. She also loved playing bingo and playing cards. She was someone who loved life, her family and animals. Treating all her pets like family.

Yvonne is survived by her sons Anthony (Patricia) Refuse, New Ross; Grant Leopold, Kentville; Todd Leopold, New Ross; her daughters Wanda Leopold, New Ross; Vicki Knockwood, New Ross; Gail (Bruce) Leopold, New Ross; and Dawn (Travis) Leopold, Black River Lake; her grandchildren Perry (Sabrina) Leopold, Canning; Tammy (Frankie) Knockwood, New Ross; Rosemarie Knockwood, Bridgewater; Nicole Huntley, Black River Lake; Tammy (Donny) Rafuse, Halifax and Cory (Heidi) Rafuse, Sackville; Jessie Leopold, Valley and several great-grandchildren; her brother Sheldon (Joyce – deceased) Rafuse, New Ross and her sister Elaine (Doran – deceased) Corbin, Valley; plus several nieces and nephews.

Yvonne is predeceased by her husband Murray Leopold, New Ross; her daughter Edith Leopold, New Ross; her Parents Ira and Beulah (Redden) Rafuse, New Ross; her Brothers Dean (Kaye) Rafuse, Valley; Bruce (Yvonne) Rafuse, New Ross; her sisters Delphine (Harvey) Leopold, New Ross; Lynn (George) Walker, New Ross and Rose (Harley) Leopold, Leminster.

A Funeral Service will be held on July 22, 2019, at 2:00 pm in the New Ross Funeral Chapel, a visitation will be preceding the service at 12:30 pm. Interment will take place in the Christ Anglican Church Cemetery on July 22, 2019. Family flowers only.
