Uncle Al, I miss you so much words cannot express my love for you. Remember the time I was in the back yard the day Grampie bought the dodge and you were on the front deck and I hit the golf ball from the top of the hill and it drilled the side of the truck, I thought I was alone until you congratulated me on the shot but told me I should do the right thing and tell Grampie. There was also the time I had the wicked slap shot that hit the door window for the screened in area on the deck and it shattered and u seen it so I told grampie, I won’t ever forgot when u told me that u we’re proud that I went and told him right away. It really is the little things like that that counts the most. I have so many amazing memories of you from when I was younger you really are an amazing person. So long “my friend”❤️

I have so many good memories of Alan from the casino days in Halifax. I think the best were playing backgammon, smoke lit in the ashtray, cold beers in the fridge, while listening to Neil diamond in the background. Those were great times and I'll always remember them fondly..so choked I can't do it again. Love you buddy.

I only got the pleasure of meeting Allan once, however his first impression amazed me. Allan walked into my mothers life, unfortunately for a very short period but still had a very positive impact on my mothers life. Every time I called my mom she was hysterically laughing because of something silly Allan had said. I wish I had gotten the chance to thank him for being such a kind person and her rock. My deepest condolences go out to all of Allan's family and friends, as well as anybody else that was so lucky to have been in his life.

Allan was my boyfriend for a brief period of time but in that period he showed me more love than I have even known. He always brightened my day everyday. He was the first person I spoke to in the morning and the last one at night. Allan cherished his mother who he called his "angel". His sister was his best friend and his cousin Art I believe is the reason I met allan.... he turned out to be the love of my life. I will cherish the time we spent together. He always was talking about his handsome son Patrick or his little boy Levi whom he still called "baby". Even if he was having a bad day he made sure I was doing ok myself. He was selfless. He knew how to be a wonderful partner and thank you allan for everything you gave me. I will love you forever.

I spoke to Allen less than a month ago and we caught up on what our families are doing. After my own recent heart attack we spoke of the things we valued most and the obvious love he had for his family and friends. We reminisce about our glory years of hockey, ball games and the foolishness of our younger years. I’m so sorry for your loss.

My sincere condolences to Levi, Judy and family. I have many fond memories of Allan, but my favourite would be of his exciting scoring rushes while playing for the Central Kings’ Gators. Allan was always a fan favourite of the home team!! He was an outgoing and friendly character at school and very popular with staff and students. May your memories of Allan bring some comfort at this difficult time. Thinking of you all with much fondness,
