Obituary of Austin Christopher Langille

Austin Christopher Langille, 69 of Digby County, formally of Wallace, passed away August 5, 2019 in the Digby General Hospital. He was the son of the late Wendall and Ethel (Pettigrew) Langille.

Austin had the utmost love for his family and friends.  It was never beneath him to offer a helping hand to anyone in need.  He enjoyed working on vehicles and working in the woods, and a favorite pastime of his was fishing.

Austin will be lovingly remembered by his companion Marylou Westcott, Digby; daughter Amanda Langille, New Glasgow; brothers Newton Langille, Truro; Delbert Langille, Ontario; two grandchildren; three step-children; six step-grandchildren; one great step-grandson and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Austin was predeceased by sisters Beatrice Langille, Gladys Langille, brothers Brent Langille and Ivan Langille.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no service at this time. Memorial donations may be made to the Charity of One’s Choice.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Digby County Funeral Chapel, 367 Highway #303, Digby, B0V 1A0 (902-245-2444).
