Obituary of Sylvia Jean Keddy

Sylvia Jean Keddy, age 89 of Hali fax, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2019. Born in Sheet Harbour, she was a daughter of the late Parker and Jean (Kenney) Bezanson.

She was a nurse and served in various Hospitals in the Halifax area.

Sylvia is survived by her daughters Elaine Ross (Kirk), Diane Lutwick (Gary) and Sigrid Dalton (Peter); son Clyde Redmond (Sandra); sister Agnes Dorey; brothers St. Clair and Carl; three step-children and their families; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Sylvia was predeceased by her first husband, Victor Redmond; second husband, Otis Keddy; grandchildren Allison and Ryan; brother Aubrey; sisters Sigrid and Bernice.

A Celebration of Jean's Life will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at at 2:00 pm in Woodlawn United Church with Rev. Phillip Kennedy officiating. There will ba a reception following in the Woodlawn United Church Hall. Burial will be held in Brookside.
