Obituary of Nellie Mae Lutz

Nellie Mae Lutz, 98 of Lake Paul  passed away October 3, 2019 in Grand View Manor in Berwick.  She was the daughter of the late Clarence and Naomi (Taylor) Lacey.

She loved her husband and all her children.  She enjoyed baking, sewing, dancing and music; and Autumn was Nellie’s favorite season.

She was known for her gentle ways and her loving heart.

She is survived by her daughters Betty (Jack) Atwater, New Brunswick; Cherlyn (Jason) Lutz, Alberta; sons Judson Lutz, Morristown; Carl (Lynn) Lutz, Scarborough, ON; Hilton (Brenda) Lutz, Lake Paul; daughter-in-law Linda, Dartmouth; 22 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, seven great great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Aubrey Lloyd Lutz; son Aubrey Dale Lutz; grandchild Kevin Muise; great-grandchildren Cherise Scott, Chrissi-Lynn Lutz, K. J. Thurston daughter-in-law Rosalie Lutz; brothers Russell Lacey, Carl Lacey, Hilton Lacey; sisters Marion Lutz, Helen Lacey, Hazel Simpson, Edith Lutz

A visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at 2:00 pm, both in the Berwick Funeral Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Canadian Liver Foundation.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Berwick Funeral Chapel, 192 Commercial Street, Berwick, NS, B0P 1E0 (902-538-9900).
