Obituary of Jeanette Edith Faltenhine

Jeanette Edith (Morrison) Faltenhine, 82, passed away at Camp Hill Veterans Memorial, in Halifax on November 19. Jeanette was born in Glace Bay, Cape Breton on August 26, 1937.

She taught skaters and brownies and was the Captain of her Curling Team.  She also worked with her husband (Roy) at various Service Stations over the years. 

She will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten by her daughter Linda (Dale) Smith and son Peter Faltenhine. She loved and was very proud of her grandchildren who also loved her so very much, Christopher (Andrea) Smith, Porters Lake, Jason (Johanna) Smith, Dartmouth, NS and Amanda (Brendan) Trainor, Eastern Passage and her great-granddaughters Leia and Lydia.

Jeanette was predeceased by her loving husband Roy Faltenhine, her brother David Morrison, and was daughter of the late George Morrison and Elsie Morrison (Harris).

The family greatly thanks the Doctor, management and staff of Camp Hill Veterans Memorial Hospital, for their exceptional care and compassion they gave to Jeanette and her family.

Cremation has taken place. A Service will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at 11:00 am in the Woodlawn United Church in Dartmouth, with Reverend Phillip officiating. In lieu of flowers,  memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4P 1B9 (902-679-2822).
