Obituary of Walter George Morine

Walter “Wally” George Morine, 65 of Hortonville, passed away December 11, 2019. Born in Wolfville, he was the son of the late George and Victorine (Doucette) Morine.

Wally was employed for many years with the Baptist Church in Wolfville. He enjoyed his work and he met many people, with which he became friends.  One of Wally’s favorite activities was scouting around various flea markets hoping to find a new treasure to come home and tinker with.  He was a quiet man, who always relished in telling stories about several happenings in the Valley.

Wally is survived by his brother Robert (Karen) and nephews Nicholas (Jessica) and Luke (Agnieszka).

Cremation has taken place and a private family burial will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Canada or charity of choice.   Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4P 1B9 (902-679-2822).
