Obituary of Hugh Allan Muise
Hugh Allan Muise Nov. 21, 1954 - Dec. 18, 2019
If you knew this great man, even a little bit, you know how lucky our family was to have spent our entire lives with him. The only thing he loved more than his two sons was his beautiful wife Deb, who has a lifetime of memories and adventures that she can cherish forever. As much as he will be missed, he has left us with more than he could ever know. He fought the hardest fight of his life the past few years, and unfortunately was taken from us far too soon.
He will leave behind two extremely handsome young sons, who he always said got their good looks and giant brains from him (which I can safely say is true for one of us). As he looks down from above, we know he will be watching over us. He has molded us into the men we’ve become today, and we will spend every day knowing that we were able to make him proud as a father, and a best friend.
He will be deeply missed, never forgotten, can shed light on us when we need, provide a laugh when we are down, and make us smile every time he’s thought of.
To all of his friends and family, you know how much you meant to him. As much of a comic he thought he may have been, you know that he would go to the end of the world and back if it meant he could lend a hand. He never knew what it meant to take a day off, and even in his last few years you would never have known he was in such a battle.
He will be remembered exactly the way he wanted to be remembered; as the hard working, reliable, friendly, and loving man he was.
The only thing he loved more than his friends were his family. His brothers and sisters, aunts/uncles, nieces/nephews, we have to thank you for raising him and allowing him to grow into the person he became, which was the best father two boys could have, and a caring and loyal husband to the love of his life.
He was the father of two, and I hope as he reads this, he knows that he not only raised two boys, but helped impact the lives of many nearby friends of both of ours.
You will be missed by so many, and have passed along an infectious personality, a kind heart, a stern voice, and a lifetime of laughter to everyone.
To his best friends Bud, Charlie, Ernie, Timmy, Ken, Allie, and Pat (I guess), past and current Neighbours, and the many others who he impacted. You know he would love nothing more than to be able to have one more chance to share a laugh with you (likely in the garage), tell you a long story (that you’ve likely already heard before), or just sit and chat with you for a while as you struggle to get a word in.
Just know that he loved you all very much, and you all meant the world to him.
Ps. Tater, Randy, Tony, and Eddie, please take care of him up there, and don’t let him get bullied just because he’s the new guy in town. Jason and I will know about it if you don’t, and you’ll want to be on our good side when we get up there in a couple decades. (Love you all).
