Obituary of Douglas Arthur Brown
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Douglas Arthur Brown on December 25, 2019, at the age of 68. He is the son of Doris R. Brown and the late Harry M. Brown of Steam Mill. He had been employed by Canard Poultry until retirement in 2006.
Douglas leaves behind a son, Bernard (Kellie); daughter, Michelle of Berwick; four grandchildren; brothers, Kevin and Eric both of Steam Mill; Donald of New Minas; Stanley (Sherry) of Red Deer, Alberta; sisters, Donna (John) McCully of Northville; Juliette (Glenn) Simpson of Halls Harbour; Marlene (Robbie) Kelly of Hortonville; Verneice (Terry) Hartt of New Minas; and Sylvia (Kevin) Smith of Centreville; as well as many nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation or service as per Douglas’ request. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
