Obituary of Nicole "Nikki" Adelaide Titus

It is with heavy hearts that we announce Nicole “Nikki” Adelaide Titus, age 35 passed away peacefully on December 27, 2019 in Valley Regional Hospital with her loving and heartbroken family at her side. Her last days, hours and minutes were filled and overflowing with love and prayer beyond measure.

Born in Digby Nova Scotia on June 7, 1984; Nikki was an absolute treasure from day one. Nicole was the loving daughter of Lori and Sidney, greatest sister to MaryAnn (Alec), Cindy (Weldon) and Tricia. She was hands down the absolute best and most proud aunt to Kelsey, Hannah, Emma, Bradley, Haylea, Marcus, Noah, Owen and Myles. Nicole also leaves broken hearts to special cousins Brenda, Bethany, Samuel and Isabella as well as her uncles Andy (Christy) and Tim, and special aunt and uncle Donna and Roger Tidd. Also left to grieve many family and friends; including her Digby Pines work family, she was so proud to be a part of. 

Nicole was predeceased by grandparents Sidney and Hazel Westcott; Uncles Elmer (Omie) Winchester and Stew Winchester. 

We would like to extend thanks to the team at Digby General Hospital as well as the paramedics whom transported Nikki to Digby and Kentville. A very special and heartfelt thank you to the Nurses and Doctors on the 3rd floor ICU at Valley Regional Hospital. We could not possibly have asked for more compassionate people. To say you do your jobs well would be an understatement. We would like to send huge thanks and enormous hugs to Donna for everything she has and is doing to assist us in our time of need. Last but certainly not least we would like to thank Pastor Mark Cress for being there and bringing so much comfort to us all at the moment we needed it most. Your presence will never be forgotten. Thank you. 

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place on January 4, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the Digby County Funeral Chapel. A reception will follow. Nikki always had a very special place in her heart for IWK and Children’s Wish Foundation, she took much pride in helping organize fundraisers alongside her Digby Pines Family. We ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to these organizations. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Digby County Funeral Chapel, 367 Highway #303, Digby, B0V 1A0 (902-245-2444).
