Obituary of David Arthur Caldwell

David Arthur Caldwell, 67 of Canning, passed away peacefully, with family by his side,  on February 6, 2020 in the Valley Regional Hospital.  Born on May 13, 1952, he was the son of Hazel (Thorpe) and the late Arthur Caldwell of Canning.

David was a gentle, caring and giving person.  He was always helping out his parents and famliy.  He cared for his parents in their later years, enabling them to stay in their home and David treasured taking care of the family home.  He loved tinkering with old cars and cutting firewood.

David will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his mother Hazel Caldwell, Canning; brothers Henry (Jeanette) Caldwell, Surrey, BC; Howard Caldwell, Canning; sisters Anne Chapman, Ottawa, ON; Jeanne (Kevin Piggott) Caldwell, Canning; amd many nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 2:00 pm in Wolfville Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations, in David’s memory, may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
