Obituary of Lloyd Edward Crossman
Lloyd E. Crossman, 78 of Pereaux passed away on February 13, 2020 in Shannex Orchard Court, Kentville. Born in Kentville, he was the son of the late Harley and Caroline (McCumber) Crossman.
Lloyd was a member of the Canning Legion for several years. He worked all over Canada as a Journeyman Sheet Metal worker. He also loved the water, working on gypson boats and fishing vessels for a number of years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. But he treasured his time spent with his family, friends and, of course, his fur babies.
Lloyd’s family would like to say a special thank you to all the staff at Orchard Court, for the care and attention they showed Lloyd during his stay there.
He is survived by his sons Keith (Eileen) Crossman; Graham (Rosie) Crossman; Bryon (Noella) Crossman; several grandchildren; sisters Polly (Bill) Clark and Sadie (Ivan) Ward.
Besides his parents, Lloyd was predeceased by his sister Eda (Ron) Sleger and brother Gorden Crossman.
Interment will take place in the Hillaton Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Shannex – Orchard Court. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4P 1B9 (902-679-2822).
