Obituary of Rachel Dawn Butler

It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Rachel Dawn Butler, 38 of Canning on July 3, 2020.  Born in Halifax, she was the oldest daughter of Basil and Betty Butler of Kingsport.

Rachel was a kind, loving, full of laughter, daughter, sister and Mother, and If you knew Rachel, she was very proud of her three Daughters! She loves you Three deeply.

Besides her parents, Rachel is survived by her daughters, Cadance, New Brunswick; MacKenna, Berwick; Jayda, Kentville; brothers Clyde Butler, Ontario; Ricky Butler, Sackville; Roger (Krista) Butler, Shelburne; Jeremey (Briana), Avonport; Cheryl Butler, Liverpool; Lindsay (Steven) Lloyd, Coldbrook; Crystal Butler, Canning; dear friend and roommate Cherie Selby; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents George and Eunice Young and her paternal grandparents Ernest and Myrna Butler.

There will be a private funeral taking place for family and close friends. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.   Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4P 1B9 (902-679-2822).
