Obituary of David Stanley Mosher

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of David Stanley Mosher, 71 of Lower Sackville on Sunday, July 5th 2020. David was born December 20, 1948 in Windsor, NS.

He is predeceased by his parents Helen Marie Mosher (Murphy) and Stanley Burril Mosher.

He is survived by his wife of 48.5 years, Nancy Mosher (Wilson); son Ben Mosher (Rachael) and grandchildren Elisabeth, Emma, Evangeline and Eli, Lower Sackville; Son Matthew Mosher and grandchildren Olivia and Megan, Parry Sound, ON and sister Sylvia O'Connor (Eddie), Kingston, NS.

David worked for Eastward Industries, Grinnell and Viking before he began his own business 28 years ago, Mosher Drafting Services, as a Fire Protection Designer. He enjoyed outdoor activities such as scuba diving, canoeing, camping and hiking.

David will be lovingly remembered for his gentle spirit, kind hearted, loving and generous ways. He donated blood 500 times to Canadian Blood Services and was always ready to help anyone in need. He was known as "Grampy" to all the children in his life.

He was cherished by all who knew and loved him and he will be dearly missed.

Due to Covid-19 Restrictions the funeral service will be by invitation only, on Thursday, July 16th, at 11 am, Rev. John Shearouse officiating. A livestream of the service will be available at https://www.crpchalifax.ca/funeral.html. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4P 1B9 (902-679-2822).
