Obituary of Elizabeth Jane Blinn

It is with grieving hearts that we mourn the peaceful passing of Elizabeth Jane Blinn, 65  in her home in Digby, with Peter and Matthew by her side.

She had many jobs during her lifetime, such as: Telephone Office in Digby, Truro and Halifax; Joe Casey, MLA; Courier Office; Digby Hospital Office; Dollar Store; PharmaChoice; and tutoring children at the School Family Resource Centre.

She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Peter; son Matthew; loving sisters Celeste, Victoria, BC; Elaine (John), Cape Breton; Wanda, Digby; Linda (Robert), Bear River; Patsy, Digby; brother Raymond (Bonnie), Bridgewater; and many nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents, John and Gladys (Amero) Blinn; brothers Eugene, Dennis, Johnny; and sister Mary.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the Digby County Funeral Chapel, seating will be limited and face masks are required. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Digby County Funeral Chapel, 367 Highway #303, Digby, B0V 1A0 (902-245-2444).
