IN LOVING MEMORY OF INGE (MUSCHEL) HARRICHHAUSEN. Nee OSTWALD

Inge went home to Jesus on August 13, 2020 at Grandview Manor, Berwick Nova Scotia at the age of 93.  Born July 15, 1927 in Riga Latvia the second child of Axel and Muki Ostwald.  She was married to Herman Harrichhausen for 56 interesting and adventuresome years. They had five children and adopted another.

She arrived to a new life in Canada in October of 1955, stopping in Halifax and then on to Montreal. After 12 years of living in Ontario they moved to her beloved province of British Columbia ending up in the Okanagan.  Travelling was one of their favourite pastimes, exploring the province, country, and continent. A few trips to Germany to visit relatives also happened.

Our Mom was very involved with her church community, volunteered with 100 Huntley St., Bible studies and her ladies and friends’ groups. She loved her family and we have many, many memories of time spent with family.

Her husband Herman, son Manfred, daughter Monica, son in law William Daniels, and grandchildren Wesley and Heidi Daniels preceded her in death.

She is survived by Angela Daniels, Black Rock NS; Gina Dunham, Halifax NS, Martin (Angela) Harrichhausen, Gibsons BC, and Andre (Marsha) Harrichhausen, Peachland BC.  She loved her 15 grandchildren and her 10 great grandchildren from all across Canada and Belize CA.

We are honoring her life with a small service at the home of Angi Daniels, 1030 Canada Creek Rd, Black Rock, Aug 19, 2020 at 2:30 pm. We would love to share this with you.  Bring a lawn chair. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Association, the Stephen Russell Memorial Fund.    Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Berwick Funeral Chapel, 192 Commercial Street, Berwick, NS, B0P 1E0 (902-538-9900).
