Obituary of Susie Catherine Wright

Susie Catherine (Redden) Wright, 93 of Martock passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2020 in Amherst.  Born in Martock, Hants County, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Jessie (Sweet) Redden.

Susie was an avid gardener, loved spending time at beaches, enjoyed sewing, music, travelling and spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her sense of humour, personality and determination. For many years, Susie was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion.

She is survived by her husband, Wade Wright (married in 1982); daughters June (Di) Davis; Mary Lund; Patsy (Timothy) Boylen; Peggy (Steven) Reid; Dian (David) Ling; Bonnie (Martin) Hopper; sons Allen (Ella) Davis; Dale (Sandra) Davis; Leonard Sherman; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at 1:00 pm in Windsor Forks Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Wolfville Funeral Chapel, 568 Main Street, Wolfville, B4P 1E5 (902-542-4656).
