I was deeply saddened to hear of Karen's passing, heaven has gained a true angel. As a child we were neighbors and I did get to babysit Karen and her siblings a few times. Everyone in Hespeler knew Karen and she loved everyone . She remembered names like nobody else I know of. She lit up a room with her smile and enthusiasm. Karen really took a shine to my better half John up at our legion, one night while we were helping out at the pigtail dinner Karen asked is he your boyfriend?.I replied yes to which she blurted out you lucky hotdog you!! I cherish that memory.
