James Reid, 81 of New Minas, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021 in the Evergreen Home for Special Care.  Born in Lake Ramsey, Lunenburg County, he was the son of the late Harry and Kathleen (Keddy) Reid.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Judy (Doyle) Reid; sons Peter (Alison) and Barry; step-granddaughter Jennika Fuller; sisters Gloria Hiltz, Sylvia Dominey and Shirley Shupack.

Besides his parents, James was predeceased by sisters Hattie Moore, Doris Graves and brother Sid Reid. 

The family wishes to thank the VON, Evergreen Home for Special Care, Dr. Jim Seaman and Kings Point to Point.

Cremation has taken place, no visitation or service by request. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
