My sincere condolences upon Anne's passing. I taught with Anne at Lake of Two Mountains High School way back in the 60s and was also involved in Guiding with her during those years in Quebec. I remember some wonderful camping experiences with her at Morin Heights. Then, after I had returned to live and retire in Nova Scoria I got a call out of the blue from her asking me to consider working with her and others at the Girl Guide Archives in Halifax. I would drive in from Bridgewater and Anne from Wolfville a couple of days a week and I think we both enjoyed those time very much. Where we retired from that experience (both of us at the same time!) I was remiss in not staying in closer contact with her as life with grandchildren took over my time . She was a lovely person.

My condolences on the passing of Ann. I met her at Wickwire Place when I would set up there with the Bookmobile for library service and would see her, later, when my parents moved in there. I always liked Ann, such a gentle soul. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time.

I learned about Ann's recent stroke, as a member of the St. John's Prayer Chain, and was praying for her recovery and return to her friends who were missing her at Wickwire, when I subsequently learned she had passed away. I am so very sorry. Please accept my sincere sympathy, and may you be comforted with many wonderful memories of a truly amazing woman!
I did not know Ann well, but she was 'special' to me from our first meeting! During the Summer/Fall of 2018, Patsy Clothier--a regular member of the St. John's Friendly Church Visiting Program--asked me if I would like to be a 'fill in' Visitor, while her usual Visiting Partner, Mary Lynne Bruce, was taken up with her 'family reunion' commitments. This was quite an honour for me. I had attended a day-long Pastoral Care Workshop in Bridgetown that Spring because I was interested in learning about Church Visiting in our Parish of Horton. And that is how I met dear Ann! We did not have many visits together, but the ones we had were pretty much one-on-one--and most enjoyable for us both! My last memory of her was a conversation we had on Ash Wednesday, 2019 when some of us came to Wickwire to a resident's apartment for a special service with now. Bishop Sandra Fyfe, and the late Rev. Canon Russell Elliott! I, too, am a life-long lover and owner of kitties! Although happily, Ann has gone to be with God, her memory will ever remain in my heart!
