Obituary of Shirley Josephine Parker

Shirley Josephine (Morine) Parker, 79 of New Minas, passed on March 30, 2021 after a short battle with cancer. Born in Wolfville, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Walsh) Morine.

She is survived by sons Owen and Brian Parker; daughter Trudy Pick; brothers Jeremiah “Jerry” (Chloris) Morine, Floyd (Pearl) Morine, Leslie Morine, Donnie Morine; grandchildren Nathanial Parker, Trevor Parker, Lara Campbell, Terik Pick, Gabrielle, Pick and Cadence Pick; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son Michael Parker; daughter Audrey Parker; brothers Nelson Morine, Clifton Morine, Gerald Morine, Eugene Morine, Joseph Morine, Paul Morine; sister Gladys Blenus.

Cremation has taken place. No visitation or service will be held as per her wishes. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
