When I heard this from Cyndi, I was so shocked, about your loss, my heart goes out to you and and Scotts family.
From a student of mine, years back to a friendship that grew from contact through our work places . We always had a laugh, when we discussed drawings , of Items that needed to be fabricated. Always some type of sarcastic joke about each other was exchanged.. He did many favours for me and am sure for many others over the years.. I will miss you my friend . I know you are now in good hands..
Rest well. George

Cindi,
No words can express my sympathy for you. Scott was a great guy, always a smile on his face and a laugh ready to burst forward. Or time we spent together always led to epic parties and stories to both tell and listen too.
My heart is hurting , it’s like loosing a big brother, for me.
Take care and know you have Angels watching over you. Hugs.

Cyndi , It is with a sad heart that I am sending you my condolences for the loss of Scott, I know how much he meant to you, Cyndi, however I will always remember your laugh as you told me a story of what he did funny or silly ( or maybe it was something you did and his reaction LOL) I always enjoyed seeing you ( and Scott on the rare occasion) and chatting with you. I could tell that your bond was very special indeed.. You both are special people and that will be there always. I missed you when I left the bank however think of you often. A new gentle, bright beautiful star is shining above you. Wishing you well as you go through this very difficult sad time. The red star that you made me( because that is how thoughtful and generous you both are) will mean that much more to me now ( not that it didn't already ) Take care my friend xoxo

We are so very saddened to hear of Scott's passing. I have known Scott and his family since we were young boys. Scott and I became best friends and shared a lot of growing up together and getting into trouble together. You never had a dull moment when Scott was around, he would just not allow that. Although we had grown apart over the years, and did not speak often, I always considered him a good friend. I am so proud to have known Scott and will be forever grateful that he was a part of my journey in life. Soar high and far my friend. Heaven has gained a great guy. Sincere condolences to Cyndi and Scott's family.

My dearest Cyndi, please know that Gerry and I will miss Scottie so much. He was larger than life and had a laugh to match. Gerry's favorite expression of Scottie's was "a normal man couldn't do it" which was always followed by Scottie's big laugh. So many good memories and laughs. Stay strong my friend.

My dearest “Big Sis”, your writing was spot on with everything you said about Scottie. I remember when we first met both of you on Red Island. Your friends didn’t show up with your tent, so you stayed in our teenie, tiny supply tent. Dennis and I loved you guys from the very start, but after you left, we couldn’t remember your names for the life of us. Someone told us your names were Chris and Debbie. When we talked about the fun we had with you that whole year, your names were Chris and Debbie. My heart hurts to know he’s gone, but my memories and love with never fade. I look forward to the celebration of life. Love always, L’l Sis xoxo

In loving memory of my father, Scott Swales.
I miss you, you and I, we had a lot of love between us, through the years we would run off on mini vacations to Pictou Lodge and to the blue rodeo concert, I can’t help but cry when I hear “try”.
We had so many good memories at the camp shooting skeet’s and 4 wheeling/snowmobiling, at Myra and on Patton rd., watching you rebuild and race cars. Remember how mad mom was when you bought me my first BB gun lol. I’d make you go to girly stores while I picked out new outfits for my birthday or Christmas lol you always spoiled me and treated me like your little princess. I loved that as I got older we would meet up for lunches and dinners and I would call you everyday to tell you about what was going on with me.
There’s no doubt in my mind that you loved me while heartily and I you.
Your legacy lives on with me and your grandsons Jack, Hunter & Declan.
RIP Daddy

Cyndi,
I am so sorry for your loss. Although I hadn't seen much of Scott in recent years, we shared a lot of laughs over decades of doing business. Such a great guy, and a super talented sheet metal worker. A big guy with an even bigger heart and a booming laugh that was irresistible! I wish you all the best in getting past this and hopefully finding happiness in the fact that Scottie was much loved and respected by all of his friends and fellow tradesmen. A sad day indeed. Be well.

I have such fond memories of Scotty, he was a joy, and I worked 2 doors down from him for many years on Joe Zatzman, I will miss him and my weather reports letting me know when the first snow flake fell so i could "get home" You are watching over us now, I am glad you finally have peace and wish you could have found it while you were still here with us. Life is short and we never know how long we have. For those left behind who needed to come together, I am sad for you as would have, could have, should have will be a very long unfixable memory. Cyndi all my love, you were Scott's rock and love. You will always be in my thought, prayers and heart
