Obituary of Jenifer Susan Moore

Jenifer Susan Moore 

December 25, 1988 – May 9, 2021

It is with deep regret we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Jen. She was the daughter of Bryan Moore and the late Vicki (Millett) Moore.

Our family was blessed on Christmas Day of 88’ when Jen graced us with her presence. As she got older, she celebrated her birthday on her sister Kara’s because she felt cheated at Christmas.

Growing up, Kara and Jen where inseparable, always able to rope mom in for an ice cream and swimming. During summer vacation our family would travel around the Maritimes and the girls would always ask “is there a pool”? Even as adults, they kept up their traditions and would take the time out for an ice cream and swim.

Jen had worked as a CCA with the Victorian Order of Nurses (VON) and Careforce Home Care for a number of years. She had a heart of gold and would share her kindness with her clients to brighten their days.

Jen loved her family dearly and she devoted a part of her life caring for her mother in her time of need.

Jen also had a great love for animals. When her dog Jersey had puppies, the whole family kept one. (Clifford, Katie & Sookie)

We, the family, are grieving with a profound loss of our beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, niece and friend.

In addition to her father, Bryan; Jen is survived by sister Kara (Dan Corkum); Niece Ava Corkum and extended family.

We want to extend our appreciation in your understanding in these difficult times with COVID that once we are able, we will have a celebration of Jen’s life at a later date.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
