Obituary of Jeremy Glidden Tyler Lutz

Jeremy Glidden Tyler Lutz, 33 of Middleton passed away unexpectantly on Thursday, May 13, 2021 in his home.  Born May 10, 1988 in Berwick, he was the son of Glidden “Buddy” (Laura) Bent and Cherlyn (Jason Kilburn) Lutz.

Jeremy was a scallop fisherman on the boat, “The Fairlee” with his captain Chris Sarty.  He loved being out on the water whether it was on the river in his canoe or at work on the ocean.  He was the energetic son, brother, father, uncle that made every moment fun!  Jeremy enjoyed the outdoors and playing with his children.  He was very creative and had a green thumb.  Jeremy would always be the one to lend anyone a helping hand; and with his sense of humour, he would light up a room with laughter, he was our comedian.

His love and pride belonged to his family and went beyond what words can express.

In addition to his adoring parents, Jeremey is survived by sister Samantha Lutz; brother Trevor (Nicole) Muise; sons Axen and Owen Lutz (mother Storm Sprague); daughters Olivia and Alexa Lutz (mother Melissa Hunt); girlfriend Andrea Illsley; step-sons Brody Wagner; Hunter, Tyson and Kashton Williams; several aunts, uncles, nephews and niece.

Jeremy was predeceased by his brother Kevin Muise; great-grandparents Lydia and Glidden O’Neil; grandmother Rose Green; grandparents Nellie and Aubrey Lutz; uncles Aubrey D. Lutz, Carl Lutz; and aunt Rosalie Lutz.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Jeremy’s Life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
